Birthday Parties

The Kiwanis Club of Keila celebrates birthdays once per quarter of the year. On determined Tuesday all birthday boys have great honor to organize happening as nice as they could. Usually there are birthday cakes even home-made ones, drinks and light meals. Also you can hear there inflated speeches and rowdy anecdotes. It is funny to play some public games inside our worthy company. We all together serve ourselves at birthday parties in the better way.

Leading Assemblies

The Kiwanis Club of Keila has the tradition to divide the leading of meeting evenings between Kiwanians by schedule. So every Kiwanian should and could organize evenings as they plan. We have met lot of interesting quests from our little town up to Estonian Parliament.There have been the persons whose better years are past but nowadays live unnoticeably among us. Our club develops itself by studying the life experience of our quests. It was interesting to meet with one famous sportsman who just stopped the active sporting but now is implemented with selling the Spanish wines. Usually nobody knows who is the next quest except the Kiwanian who leads the evening of course. This keeps our evenings expectable.

Discussion evenings

In some club evenings we have discussion evenings, one evening per two months usually. The topic of the discussion will be generated usually by president or by directories. The next topic usually is actual problem in everyday life or important occasion. For example the Local Elections. Many of our Kiwanians were candidates in elections and from different parties. So discussion was very interesting, exciting and long.

Christmas Party

The Christmas Party is one of the most glorious event in Kiwanis Club. For that we have special place to come together with our families - the Holiday Camp of KeVa Ltd. It will take place usually at the end of the December after Christmas Days and before New Year's Eve. There will be the Big Table with lot of food and drink, the Finnish Sauna with pool, public games between Kiwanians and dancing and dancing... through the night up to next morning. And of course Santa Claus with gifts to everybody which must be bought out by poems, songs, dances or by other skills.

Snowtown competition

The Keila Kiwanis Club pushed on the tradition in Keila town - the Snowtown Competition. It is the project of our Kiwanians. At the end of January or in the beginning of February in the Central Park of our town there will the very interesting happening going on. There would many teams form out fantastical ideas into snow. At last year there were about 25 teams registered for a competition(15 teams in this year). The best teams would get prices. But the best is the Snowtown itself and belongs to every citizen of our town until the snow would not thaw. To avoid the freezing everybody could get the cup of hot wine from Kiwanis Club.

Charter Party

The Keila Kiwanis Club has its Charter Party in February at Anniversary of Independent of Estonia. Usually it will be organized in some restaurant. It is best moment to get new members, to think what we have done and what plans we have for future.

The Epiphany Day

The 6th of the January is the Epiphany as you know. So last year we made the experience to spend this holiday on special way. And we plan to be it as marvellous tradition in future. In the evening at night there will be the large open air and crowded(...500) meeting somewhere on the square in our town. The people is announced to bring together all used Christmas trees over the homes from the Keila and to make as big bonfire as possible. There will be price per every tree - the sweeties. Everybody could get a glass of wine or cup of tea. You should see the shine and joy in the eyes in dark night! It is fantastic. Our Keila is a bit better place after the Epiphany.
